smoke, sulfur burning
   the eyes, throat
   ears blasted by
body blows of sudden air
beautiful patterned fire
blossoming like a promise
with all the stars above
   ooo's and ahh's 
with deep thuds
to the chest, terrified
animals and some others
remembering different
reasons to remember
while kids whirling
sparklers dance
little lights
up late
  making
pretty magic
before sleep
forgets
