knowing you are
careening through a void
standing at meaningless angles
held upon a sphere
   blinded to all around
by a convex horizon
is there any wonder
traveling far beyond
the downward pulls escaped
   seeing backward
   down to one
   small bright point
how fortunate a horizon is
