repetition
with focus
wears a groove
restricting
a range to a fine
   point
sometimes masterful
or beautiful or
all the in-betweens
   sometimes
simply masterful
   repetition
without an escape
path back home
where cobbled ideas
placed the first
   cobblestone
with the why left
lost behind the gate

i stack 1 thing
against another
and you see it
as i never could
   intend
but as you
happen too

How Things Are
equal and opposite
would never need
to 0 each other
nor consume
to live

you may
say this is
just as the fallen
upon the earth must
bide their time

say this is
just how i would
do things different

i like imagining
sometimes calculating
   the effect of me
moving through our space
   has

those who i love or have
loved me but especially
strangers as our chance
encounters brush against
each other sending each
other along our ways

short of understanding
   and only hope
